Mallorca is a tourist destination that needs more introduction. And while its natural charms are enough to make any visit to it special, there’s a place that represents a different side of this magical island. Alcudia is a medieval town located in the north part of the island and has been a popular tourist destination for many years. Forming a peninsula all its own, it is a breathtaking sight in its own right, with historic buildings only adding to the island’s unforgettable charm.

The walls surrounding Alcudia date back to the Middle Ages. Thanks to restoration efforts, the effects of wear and tear have been reversed and you can enjoy an authentic view of the city in its full glory. What used to be a Roman settlement has become a bustling, modern town that still maintains its unique spirit, thanks to the presence of authentic houses, theatre, and various other architectural marvels from the era. Take a tour down the narrow streets and just take in the timeless spirit of it all – you won’t regret it.
Once you’ve taken in the streets, there are plenty more places where you can entertain to no end, no matter how long you stay. There’s a ton of things to do in Alcudia, including the legendary Alcudia nightlife and various other attractions.
If there’s one thing Mallorca is famous for, it’s its beaches. Being located in the northern part of the island, Alcudia is very close to some of the island’s most picturesque beaches, such as Playa de Muro. They’re very easy to access, with buses coursing frequently to ensure that you get to the beach of your choosing in no time at all.
Alcudia offers a lot of attractions, so I can recommend this place especially for young people!
